Chuck Liddell and Forest Griffin have been tapped to coach the upcoming third season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America,’ the UFC announced Monday.
Both Liddell and Griffin have a history with TUF beginning with the show’s first season in 2005. Griffin became one of the series’ early stars with Liddell as his coach.
Filming for the The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 will take place in spring in Argentina. The season will air in August on UFC Fight Pass along with some regional outlets.
“I’m very excited to be participating in The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3,” Griffin said in a statement. “I know how much of a competitor Chuck is so I will be bringing my A game. UFC is still very new in Latin America and for that reason I am thrilled to be a part of this opportunity in helping grow the sport in the region.”
The finale set for Nov. 5 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. Liddell and Griffin will obviously not be fighting each other at the finale.
