“Falcao was a Gold Medalist at the 2012 Brazilian National Championship (amateur)  and the 165 pound Silver Medalist at the 2012 Olympics. He is praised as one of the best prospects to come out of Brazil in recent memory.”

Falcao stormed onto the scene after receiving the bronze medal in the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships. He qualified for the 2012 Olympics where he reached the finals for Brazil. In Falcao’s pro debut he knocked out last minute fighter Joshua Robertson in the fourth round after his original opponent, Paul Harness, got injured. Falcao’s next fight was announced on the undercard of the Pacquiao vs Bradley II fight against Publio Pena. Falcao dominated that fight and ended up winning by unanimous decision in his second career fight.

Falcao is now sitting at 20-0 with 14 knockouts after recent victories over Jose Miguel Fandino & Salim Larbi.

We are very excited to have added Esquiva Falcao to our list of Team Everlast athletes, and we know we can do great things with him here in the United States as well as Brazil.
