THE FIGHT CAVE MMA PODCAST Ep 10: Alliance MMA Pres. Talks Developing Fighters for UFC

Matt Culley and Sergio DaSilva are joined by Rob Haydak, President of Alliance MMA and former CEO of Cage Fury Fighting Championships. They talk about the company’s premier promotional opportunities for aspiring MMA fighters, regional promotions, upcoming fighters, and past fighters Haydak has identified like UFC fighter Paul Felder.

AMMA is the only majorly traded MMA company. They own many regional MMA promotions across the US, including CFFC, HFC, Shogun, V3, GFL, CageTix.com, SuckerPunch Entertainment, and COGA.

Bryan Hamper, Managing Partner of Sucker Punch Entertainment, shares what qualities they look for rising MMA fighters.  He talks about his business, fighters they manage like Max Holloway, Angela Hill, and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, as well the latest about Connor McGregor, Jose Aldo, and BJ Penn.  Sucker Punch is a big supporter of women’s MMA, and they have many female fighters that they discuss on this episode.

In Fight News, Kyle Antonelli tells us how Mark Hunt is suing the UFC for the Brock Lesnar PED situation. He talks about BJ Penn’s and Heather “The Heat” Hardy’s upcoming fights, and touches upon Meryl Streep’s MMA comment at the Golden Globes.
