Gregor Gillespie makes his UFC Debut at UFC Fight Night 95

If you haven’t heard Gregor Gillespie’s name yet, you will soon.

He’s making his UFC debut this weekend on the prelims of UFC Fight Night 95 after holding a lightweight belt in arguably the best UFC feeder promotion around in Ring of Combat.

Gregor wrestled at Edinboro University, a Division I school where he won a NCAA title and was a four-time All-American. After college he wrestled at the U.S. Open. He won a world team trial and contemplated a run at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

He’s the real deal.

He got into MMA after moving to Long Island, NY and connecting with a bunch of fighters – including UFC’s Dennis Bermudez and Ryan LaFlare.  He started his career in 2014 and went on a seven-fight winning streak with six first-round stoppages.

Gillespie trains out of Bellmore Kickboxing and Long Island MMA.
