Otha Jones III Goes To 2-0 With Stoppage Win In England

Power in both hands, destructive intent, and just 19 years old, with a face that screams he’ll get carded for another five plus years if he wants to buy a beer…

Otha Jones III got it done in England, at York Hall, Bethnal Green, stopping Michard Horabin in round one, in a bout that screen on DAZN.

The left hook body shot, and then hammers from the left and right hand dropped Horabin in the first. That came 30 seconds into the round. The left hooks were ripping, and maybe one went low. Horabin indicated a south of the border shot and got extra time. The above average hand speed-power combo was hurting the loser again, and down he went off a right, after his body got strafed again. Jones, the fighting pride of Toledo, Ohio,  is a body snatcher, keep on the lookout for that moving forward.

At 1:40 elapsed, the ref said no mas, with 2-11 Horabin on his back, looking the worse for wear.

He didn’t protest, and Jones celebrated with a backflip. They hugged it out after David Diamante told us that OJ won again.

Jones, managed by David McWater, who will be winning BWAA manager of the year sooner rarher than later, is now 2-0. He debuted with a W in March. Keep an eye out, this is a good one.
