Raquel “Pretty Beast” Miller Gets W in California

The “Pretty Beast” aka Raquel Miller, lived up to her nickname on Saturday, and both looked like a million bucks and kicked some tail, belonging to Erin Toughill, at Gardens Casino, in California.

Via KO7, Miller, a guest on the last Everlast “Talkbox” podcast, used a left hook, thrown in tight, to drop Toughill…

..and the ref waved it off. Miller also scored a knockdown in round one, off a body shot; she rises to 9-0, with 4 KOs.

Miller is managed by David McWater and promoted by DiBella Entertainment. The 34 year old hitter reduced Toughill to 8-4-1.

“Fun fight,” Miller told me on Wednesday.

I asked McWater about Miller, who lives in Cali. “Really one of my favorite clients,” he said. “Brilliant, loquacious, would make a great manager herself. Pretty damn good fighter too. I always say she is sort of the Venus Williams of boxing because if Claressa Shields had never been born Raquel would have a couple of gold medals right now. What’s next? That was some KO! Hoping for the WBA title in late June or early July.”
