The Neutral Corner: Stay Fit During The Holidays

With 2016 quickly coming to an end, the hustle and bustle can easily knock you off of your fitness grind and send you into the new year with a lot of work to do. Traveling, running from mall to mall searching for gifts, and going to all the holiday parties can be exhausting, and can take away time for your workouts…Here’s my gift to you, 3 body weight workouts that can be done anywhere without any equipment and won’t take you an hour and a half to complete. Get a jump on your fitness new years resolution, and go be great!

Workout 1

1) 50 squats

2) 1 min. plank

3) 40 lunges

4) 1 min. plank

5) 30 sit ups

6) 1 min. plank

7) 20 push ups

8) 1 min. plank

9) 10 burpees

10) 1 min. plank

 

Workout 2

Tabata Intervals – A Tabata interval consists of 8 sets of 20 seconds at max effort followed by 10 seconds of rest for 4 minutes.

  1. Mountain Climbers
  2. Rest 1 minute
  3. Jump Lunge
  4. Rest 1 minute
  5. Plank
  6. Rest 1 minute
  7. Flutter Kicks

 

Workout 3

1) .5 mile run

2) 10-8-6-4-2, or 2-4-6-8-10 sets

-Push up

-Jump Squat

3) .5 mile run
