The term “boxing is dead” could not be more untrue after the numbers were reported for the Cotto vs Canelo fight. In a fight that did not include a name like Mayweather or Pacquiao, this mega fight brought in 900,000 PPV buys and $58 million in PPV revenue which should make both camps extremely happy. JACOBS ALMOST PULLED OUT FROM FIGHT?

When it comes to a “mega fight” everything has to be perfect. Whether it’s training, weight cutting, or even the drug testing leading up to a fight; it must all go smoothly. In this case, the USADA wasn’t going to show up to Jacobs camp when he originally thought which left the World Champion a little on edge. ROBBIE LAWLER INJURED? AGAIN?

With reports coming out that Robbie Lawler is injured again, many took to social media to say that the reports were in fact, false. However, there is still no word from the UFC on this matter, and we have yet to hear anything from Lawler himself. Lawler is currently scheduled to defend his 170-pound title against Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 195 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 2nd. ALDO-MCGREGOR WINNER ON COVER OF EA SPORTS UFC 2

In what appears to be a great marketing move by EA Sports, the winner of December 12th’s showdown between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor will get the ultimate prize of joining Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA Sports UFC 2. EA Sports noted that this is the first time in its history that the winner of a real-world sporting event will get the opportunity to be included on a game’s cover. ROUSEY VS HOLM REMATCH CONFIRMED

UFC president Dana White confirmed on Thursday, Dec. 3, that Ronda Rousey will get a rematch against defending bantamweight titleholder Holly Holm, who defeated her at UFC 193 last month.
