JON JONES RETURNS TO UFC

He’s back! Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones has been officially reinstated by the UFC on what appears to be a very short leash. His involvement in a hit-and-run incident earlier this year resulted in the loss of his 205-pound title. No official date for his return to the octagon has been scheduled. Puerto Rican lightweight sensation, Felix Verdejo, has decided to withdraw from his fight vs Brazilian Josenilson Dos Santos on Halloween night. ‘JUST OVER’ 150,000 PPV BUYS FOR GOLOVKIN – LEMIEUX

The mega-fight held at Madison Square Garden this past weekend created a lot of buzz in the city as Gennady “GGG” Golovkin took on the powerful puncher David Lemieux. The fight, which was surprisingly being sold on pay-per-view, created just over 150,000 buys from the public. The fight, which was promoted by K2 Promotions, sold out MSG and made even more in apparel sales.
