Will Brooks Doesn’t Feel Threatened

Team Everlast athlete and Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks is comfortable with his position in this sport, and doesn’t foresee it changing anytime soon. This Friday, Brooks (16-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) will look to defend his title against a dangerous grappler Marcin Held 21-3 MMA, 10-2 BMMA).

“I’m getting a lot more comfortable with who I am as a person and in the cage and I don’t feel too much of a threat by anybody,” Brooks told MMAjunkie. “I see this fight as another opportunity to make money and continue my career and to go on and win and compete. I don’t feel like there’s a lot of expectation for me to go out and do this and do that. I just go out there and do what I do best, and that’s compete and be the best fighter I can possibly be at all times.”

Currently riding a seven-fight win streak, Brooks looks to defend his title and finish this fight in convincing fashion. You can catch all the action this Friday on Spike TV starting at 7 PM EST.
