Will Brooks Signs With UFC

It appears top free agent lightweight fighter Will Brooks (17-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) finally has a home. It was released today that Brooks has signed an 8 fight deal with the UFC and will be in action right away when he takes on Ross Pearson at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 8th.

Brooks was released by Bellator back in May even though he was the lightweight title holder at the time. While Brooks will be looking for his career UFC victory, Pearson will be going after his second straight win for the first time in more than three years.

To catch Will Brooks in action and making his UFC debut, make sure you tune in to Fox Sports 1 on July 8th.
