Ochoa’s next fight against Cody Osborne was a first round TKO, and the following was a KO against Michael Salcido.  He scored a four round decision win over Calvin Smith on April 27, 2013, and then won by unanimous decision over Michael Doyle and Jose Valderrama.

On the Bernard Hopkins-Beibut Shumenov undercard on April 19, 2014, Ochoa defeated Hector Marengo.

In Ochoa’s last two bouts of 2014, he made his Brooklyn fans proud at Barclays Center with decision victories over Luis Alberto Cervantes and Jose Miguel Castro to cap off a 4-0 campaign.

In 2015, he knocked out Engelberto Valenzuela, won by decision against Moises Rios and the battle-tested Rodela, and ended the year with a TKO against Alejandro Rodriguez.  Ochoa dominated in 2016 with three more wins, two by UD and one KO.

Ochoa lost to Yves Ulysse Jr in New York, but scored a UD win later in 2017 against Ariel Vasquez.
